To identify English proficiency level of First year B.Tech, BBA, B.Sc. B.A. B.Arch. MBA, M.Sc. , English online Proficiency Test was arranged by the Department of English Sanjay Ghodawat University.To understand their levels in Oral Communication, One on one interaction with higher authorities including Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. V. A. Raikar, Hon. Registrar, Dr. B. M. Hirdekar and Deans and Heads of Department was also organized by the department of English SGU.
A program on International Mother Language Day was jointly organized by the School of Liberal Arts and Students' Welfare on 21st February 2018 at 3pm. in the auditorium MBA building. Hon, Registrar, Dr. B. M. Hirdekar, Director of Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes Dr. V. V. Kulkarni, Dr. M. T. Telsang Dean of Academics Sanjay Ghodawat University, Controller of Examination Dr. S. M. Shiyekar, Dean of School of Commerce and Management Dr. Sandip Rakshit, Dean of School of Liberal Arts Dr. U. P. Jadhav, Head department of Electrical Engineering Mrs. S. S. Kumbhar, Head Department of Mathematics Mr. S. S. Salgare, Dr. Khabale, Mrs. Priyambika were present for the programme. They shared their ideas about the development of their mother tongue. The programme was coordinated by Dr. S. M. Shinde and Mrs. D. D. Patil.
One Day Workshop on 'Basic Official Correspondence' for Administrative Staff was jointly organized by School of Liberal Arts and HRD Cell of Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes, Kolhapur on 24th January 2018. Around 120 participants attended the workshop. Hon. Trustee of Sanjay Ghodawat University, Mr. Vinayakji Bhosale, Hon. Vice Chancellor of Sanjay Ghodawat University , Dr. V. A. Raikar, Hon, Registrar, Dr. B. M. Hirdekar, Director of Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes Dr. V. V. Kulkarni were present for the inauguration of the workshop. Dr. H. V. Deshpande Ex Principal of Ajara Mahavidyalaya Ajara Dr. R. Y. Chikkode, Ex Principal Arts and Commerce College Chikkodi, Dr. B. M. Hirdekar and Dr. U.P. Jadhav delivered their expert lectures during the workshop. The anchoring of the inauguration programme was done by Dr. S. M. Shinde and Mrs. D. D. Patil. Dr. S. M. Shinde, Mrs. D. D. Patil, Mr. B. B. Pujari and Mr. I. A. Kamble were the coordinators of the workshop.
